About Me

American photographer David Hagerman splits his time between southeast Asia and Turkey. A Malaysia resident for now, he has lived in Asia for over 15 years, David specializes in food, travel, street photography and portraiture. His editorial clients include the New York Times, Saveur, Afar and Travel+Leisure Southeast Asia. Commerical clients include CIMB Bank, E&O Hotels, Electrolux, Nestles and ABC Television.
For the last year he has been documenting daily life in Chiang Mai's historic Gat Luang neighborhood, for a book to be published in 2012.
