We recently spent a couple of days on Pulau Ketam, a small island about 45 minutes off the coast of Malaysia. We are working on an article but even if we weren't we would still be making the trip out. Each time we meet more people, and get to know the people we met before that much better. This time we were there with our friend J (whom we had met of a previous trip to PK) and her friend Y.
As break from the 'hectic' island life, we jumped into a speed boat that took us through the mangrove swamps which led us to one of many fish farms that surround the island.
At this particular 'farm' they raise 'long dan' which is an immense fish harvested at between 40 and 50kgs.
