Kuala Lumpur is one of south east Asia'a great treasures. Where else can you get a RM12 ($3.25) haircut ( go ahead - chuck in another 5 Ringit for the shave) then head down to the cornershop for a heapin' helpin' of banana leaf goodness.
I had the opportunity to photograph four KL restaurants serving Chettinad fare for this month's Travel and Leisure South East Asia.
Having eaten at these restaurants numerous times in the past and recommending them to anyone who would listen it was fun to be able to go back and spend a little more time. I especially enjoyed working with a number of the waiters who despite their initially stoic / shy exteriors are really great when you turn on the camera.
Tuck in..
Great shots Dave!
Which one was your favorite?

Thanks folks - I would have to say the food and staff made my job considerably easier.
Jarrett - I'm partial to Bakti Woodlands. The relationship goes back to our early days in KL:

Great great pictures! I enjoy it!
Miserably, my reflex pass away and I can not shot the place where I am now: Jakarta! Another kind of Asian treasure...
By the way what reflex you use?
Thanks again for the experience!
