Find a spot and wait. That's what I often tell my fellow photo 'walkees'. I came across this shot from a walk back in January in KL's China Town. Yellow backdrop, purple doors, nice light so when I saw this guy and his granddaughter coming down the street I knew I needed to stop and ask them for a photo. They kindly obliged. It wasn't until I came across the image today that I noticed the shadowy figure caught in the shop's mirror. Captured on my Ricoh GRD III (1/800 at f5.0 ISO100).
Great blog. I really like your name of SkyBlueSky. My father had a name for the color of the sky at sunrise or sunset. He call it SkyBluePink. I immediately thought of that when I saw your blog. I really like all of your photographs also, very good.
